What began as a journey of faith to provide a new office for the Sydney based Power to Change strategies has now become a remarkable point of praise! On 6 April we had a wonderful time celebrating the opening of our new Sydney Mission Hub!
The evening began with an opportunity to tour the newly completed office to see where our missionaries have set up work, meeting, and storage space that combine their resources to further their impact in Sydney. There were missionaries and volunteers stationed around the office to share their excitement with guests who partnered with Power to Change to make this possible.
Not only was it wonderful to hear from the missionaries but also to hear how God moved in the hearts of others to partner with us to make this possible. As you walked through the office you could hear many conversations of how God moved in their hearts with a vision for this new location and how it will be used. Our guests shared wonderful and fun stories of working side by side with our missionaries during demolition, construction, and the many involved in cleaning and painting.
Even more enjoyable was to hear anticipation of how this new facility will bring a sense of community and synergy among our missionaries and partners while providing a long awaited stable base of operations. Time and resources that were often spent relocating offices, or the extra logistics required by not having an appropriate location, can now be focused on introducing more people to Jesus.
Later that evening we gathered together to pray and praise God for His blessings and provision. In dedicating this new Sydney Mission Hub we committed to the Lord what He miraculously provided and our anticipation of the great things God will bring out of this new opportunity.
Thank you for your prayer, financial partnership, and to the many that laboured for months making it possible. You moved this effort from what appeared impossible to what now stands as incredible praise of God’s provision and leaps forward in connecting people to Jesus and each other. This is indeed only the beginning of incredible stories of lives changed as Jesus is made known!
